We Love to Create

CONCEPT

The design for Chocolate and Love is rooted in the concept of "Urban Tropicality." By pairing an immersive, floor-to-ceiling botanical mural with rich, mid-century inspired timber furnishings, the space creates an immediate escape from the urban exterior. The high-contrast palette of deep jungle greens and warm walnut tones is designed to feel both lush and grounded, transforming a standard commercial footprint into a vibrant, sensorial destination for the community.

The interior focuses on creating a high-energy yet comfortable social environment through a bold use of color and texture. The open-concept floor plan is anchored by a custom service counter and integrated shelving, while the seating area utilizes patterned upholstery and natural wood frames to provide a sense of warmth. By keeping the ceiling industrial and dark, the architectural focus remains on the "living wall" mural and the warm, track-lit zones that define the cafe’s intimate atmosphere.

Functional flow and visual impact drive the layout of the cafe. The transition from the bright, polished concrete flooring to the dark, glossy tile behind the bar creates a sophisticated backdrop for the service area. Every element, from the communal seating arrangements to the curated display lighting, works together to ensure the space feels airy and expansive, providing a modern, design-forward setting for the chocolate and coffee experience.
