RIYADH | SA
Our participation in the Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) project, involved providing architectural and design support for one of the most ambitious educational developments in the world. As the largest women-only university globally, the 8-million-square-meter campus in Riyadh is a landmark of modern Saudi infrastructure, designed to accommodate over 60,000 students. Ensuring that the complex's advanced infrastructure met both functional and aesthetic requirements. This involvement was key to realizing a campus that balances modern, LEED-certified building technologies with traditional cultural elements, providing a world-class, inclusive environment.
PNU Hospital
The hospital and research segment of the PNU project stands as a pinnacle of high-tech medical infrastructure. This specialized district features a state-of-the-art teaching hospital and advanced laboratory facilities designed for complex medical research. The architecture maintains a clinical yet inviting aesthetic, utilizing a rhythmic masonry facade, extensive glazing to maximize natural light, and integrated green terraces for patient wellbeing. By providing a technologically advanced environment for both specialized care and academic training, this portion of the campus serves as a critical hub for healthcare innovation and medical excellence in the region.
